In addition to the PDF copies of many LAMAS publications – all the back issues of the Society’s Transactions and Special Papers are available from the Society’s website.
Copies of the same Transactions articles (but not other contents such as book reviews) are also available as part of an online searchable data base hosted by the Archaeology Data Service (ADS).
The link below takes you to the library page – if you look for LAMAS under ‘Organisations’, there is a link to the all the articles published in LAMAS Transactions from 1860 until 2021. This database of articles can be searched by key words such as ‘Westminster Abbey’, or author names. This service is provided by the Society to promote greater public awareness of its publications and the heritage of Greater London, as well as fulfilling the Society’s public outreach and open access policies concerning its publications.
In addition, the ADS website hosts a lot of other material including back issues of the London Archaeologist and many Greater London ‘grey literature’ archaeological reports deposited by various organisations including AOC Archaeology Ltd, MOLA and Surrey County Council Archaeological Unit.
