This is our page to record instances and examples where archaeology, historic buildings, their fabric and setting have been preserved by appropriate interventions by local planning authorities and statutory and non-statutory heritage and conservation bodies. Our aim is not to suffocate development, it is to ensure it is appropriate and balanced to protect the unique heritage of London for generations to come. We do not claim that these are successes down to us alone. We are part of a large array of people and organisations across London who want a better built future.
