LAMAS LOCAL HISTORY PUBLICATIONS AWARD

Submissions are invited for the LAMAS Local History Committee’s Annual Awards for publications on Local History.

The Committee annually presents three publication awards:

Best book published by a member of an affiliated society (£100 prize)
Best journal produced by an affiliated society (£100 prize)
Best newsletter produced by an affiliated society (£50 prize).

To be eligible, the publication must have been published within the previous calendar year by an affiliated local history society, or self-published by a member or members of such a society.

To submit a publication for these awards, please download the Publications Award form. A separate form should be used for each category entered.

The publication should be sent to the Secretary of the Local History Committee (address given on the form) before the closing date of 31 March each year. Publications submitted cannot be returned.
