Special Papers

We publish monographs or collections of essays separately from time to time. However, it is our present policy to publish as much as possible in Transactions, rather than in the Special Papers series. Those Special Papers that are still in print (see below) may be purchased directly from Oxbow Books.

Special Paper 17 is available for purchase:

‘HIDDEN HISTORIES AND RECORDS OF ANTIQUITY’: ESSAYS ON SAXON AND MEDIEVAL LONDON FOR JOHN CLARK, CURATOR EMERITUS, MUSEUM OF LONDON London and Middlesex Archaeological Society Special Paper 17, price £20 + £3.20 post and packing, ISBN 978-0-903290-68-5, published July 2014

This volume is a tribute to John Clark and his long career in the Guildhall Museum and the Museum of London. The book is edited by five of his former Museum colleagues, and there are 37 other contributors. It is illustrated in colour throughout. It is available for purchase in the Museum of London shop or from Karen Thomas, using this order form.
